Mixed Media by Anita Enriquez, “Bosque” 2019<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

This is my favoritest (sp?) piece of art I have in my collection. It is an amazing interpretation of that moment, a moment I get to cherish and explore continually, created by a good friend, multi-media artist Anita Enriquez. Fine more of here work here www.instagram.com\/botanartist<\/a>. The mixed media piece is on 1\/4″ piece of plywood, depicting one my favorite places on this earth. The Cottonwood forest found in the Rio Grande river valley of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Fun Factoid; The Rio Grande River Valley is one of the longest continually inhabited areas in all of North America. I refer to this pose in the painting of myself as my “Sasquatch” walk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The painting was born from Anita putting out a open call to anyone who would like to have their picture taken and re-interpreted as a piece of art. I volunteered, I don’t remember who suggested the bosque but we both agreed the sand bar would be a great backdrop. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
